PCPP is pleased to announce that it will be embarking on a new project with photographer Stephan Brigidi. Brigidi is a Rhode Island-based photographer and has received a Fulbright-Hays Fellowship and a Photographer’s Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. Brigidi has also taught photography since 1979 at the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Hawaii among several others.
“From my beginnings in the early 1970s, my most common practice has been to work in various series, organizing the work accordingly. Whether I have made photographs, or worked in other media, my curiosities have been consistent: to examine humanity with my own place and role within humanity. As a photographer, my fascinations and curiosities have been in working with people. This has been the case for nearly fifty years of image making.” - Stephan Brigidi
