Everyone leaves a legacy. Some legacies happen in the blink of an eye, a moment or insight that touches someone deeply and, however slightly, changes the world. Other legacies are as concrete, intentional, and strenuous as a life’s work, whose influence can spread across continents and centuries. Legacies of both kinds, of all kinds, are the stuff of human history.
This blog is about exploring every sort of legacy--a memory, an object, a photograph, a conversation, a chest in the attic, a lovely or sad Christmas memory, anything that plants a seed or opens a door.
We will talk about mostly about cultural legacy, because we are a non-profit whose mission is preservation, but this blog is yours to talk about every sort of legacy, the kind you have inherited and the kind you hope to leave.
