Internationally acclaimed photographer Keith Carter will be in conversation with Anne Tucker, former director and curator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. They will discuss Keith's experience photographing along the Texas/New Mexico border, where CASE Art Fund is doing a project called Borderlines. Borderlines is a project about unaccompanied refugee and asylum-seeking children who, in 2018, were forced by the U.S. government into a temporary detention center built in Tornillo, TX, a remote, desert border town about 40 miles east of El Paso, as part of Trumps Zero Tolerance immigration policy.
The talk will take place on February 13th from 10:00 - 11:00AM CT via Zoom. The tickets will be made available on the CASE Art Fund website, so be sure to reserve your spot before the date!
The CASE Art Fund is an organization committed to raising awareness about children's human rights through the support and exhibition of photography.
