New Resources! Kamoinge Workshop Timeline and Online Catalog

PCPP is thrilled to announce the launch of two incredible new resources developed by our Summer 2019 Philip and Edith Leonian Research Fellow, Lizette Terry.

The Kamoinge Workshop Timeline presents Kamoinge events in dialogue with the events of the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s and the accomplishments of the African American photographers to follow, visualizing the influences that led to the Workshop’s foundation and a record of its impact in the African American photographic community.

The Kamoinge Workshop Online Catalog of Ephemera digitizes and catalogues important ephemera corresponding to exhibitions, publications, events, and press made by or surrounding members of the Workshop.
